1- Great to have you on our blog. Please, introduce yourself?
Answer: Pleasure to be here! My name is Miles Prime- I’m an independent artist out of Phoenix, Az.
2- What got you into music and made you realize that it was your chosen path?
Answer: Music is something I’ve always been into since the day I was born. My family is made up of a big musical background so the influence was all around. My mom was a rapper and performer and even wrote some of my first raps for talent shows. By the time I was able to write and form concepts together on my own there was no question this is what I’d be doing for the rest of my life
3- Tell us about your new Single. And what’s the story behind it?
Answer: The new single “CONFRONTATION 101” is lit!! Haha but nah, it’s one of those fun tracks where I just wanted to hop on and really let my presence be felt that’s all. My homie Marquel Deljuan sent me the beat and it was up from there.
4- What makes your music unique? How would you describe it?
Answer: My music is unique because I can give out many different styles while still being myself 100% and it always still feels natural. A lot of artists today can’t do that. Not to mention everything I record is substance driven. If I’m not getting a valid message across I won’t say it.
5- What advice would you give to aspiring musicians?
Answer: Stay persistent and stay consistent, always sharpen your skills, quality over quantity, and lastly don’t measure your success on another artists’ success. Your time will come and that’s true for all talent willing to put the work in.
6- Who are your biggest musical influences? And any particular artist/band you would like to collaborate with in the future?
Answer: Michael Jackson is by far my biggest musical influence. That’s the goat of all goats
There’s not anyone in particular I’d like to collaborate with at the moment all I know is whoever likes what I’m doing and is willing to work that’s who I’m rocking with
7- If you had one message to give to your fans, what would it be?
Answer: I love and appreciate everyone who takes the time out of their day to watch, stream or even talk to me. We’re going to take this as far as it can go no matter what!
8- What’s next for you? Any upcoming projects?
Answer: Just gonna be working you know. More dope music, more dope videos, hopefully some dope shows get locked it as well. Just working so y’all will have to lock in with me to see the pressure I come with.
