Groove Doctors 3 is a high-energy, genre-blending band formed in 2023 in East Lansing, MI. This dynamic quartet features guitarist/vocalist Michael Lawrence (Seattle, WA), drummer David Stowe (Newton, MA), bassist Glenn Chambers (Houston, TX), and keyboardist Dick Bourgault — all professors at Michigan State University with published books and deep musical roots.
By day, they're scholars in law, religious studies, history, and administration; by night, they're lifelong musicians and close friends who fuse original songs with fresh takes on classic covers. Their debut album, LIVE AND LET LIVE, dropped May 23, 2025, on the indie label Maintain Zen Music. The album reflects the spirit of their performances — soulful, eclectic, and driven by a shared joy for music.
